Stella McCartney launched her eponymous luxury fashion house in 2001. As a lifelong vegetarian, she has never used leather, feathers, skin, or fur in any of her designs. Since those first seeds were planted, the brand has continued to grow its sustainability thought-leadership through material and supply chain innovation, partnerships and more.
One of the first 100 per cent recyclable garments made by a commercial brand.
With the Nucycl® engineered fiber as the platform, the adidas by Stella McCartney design team set out to develop a concept garment that would not only be 100% recyclable, but also support future regeneration as well. Seeing fashion waste as a design flaw, this concept evolved into “The Infinite Hoodie” – a completely circular piece of clothing.
By collaborating with partners who share our same vision, as we’ve done with Evrnu, we can combine adidas by Stella McCartney’s sports industry expertise with specialist knowledge to bring about a waste-free world.
